My Summer Favorites

Although I love fall, I think summer would definitely be my favorite time of the year. I love to be outside and enjoy the sunshine in the summer. Going into Summer I have compiled a list of my favorite products and things I am loving this season. Here are my Summer favorites for 2022.

Biker shorts & Graphic Tees

Biker Shorts have been my go-to within the last few months. I love a good biker short and the look of an oversized t shirt. I have a ton of ‘expensive’ biker shorts that I wish I never spent money on, because this brand from Amazon is the same, if not better. I have their leggings and their biker shorts and they are super comfortable and affordable. They come in a ton of colors but black is always my staple.

 

Graphic tees are also becoming a quick favorite of mine. Urban outfitters has been my go-to for oversized T shirts. I have been super into band tees because they are so easy to throw over a pair of biker shorts and head out the door. Amazon also has a bunch of affordable options like this gorgeous blue color here. Only $20.00. 

Pillow Slides

I bought my first pair of pillow slides almost 2 years ago. And I’ve never looked back. I want them in every single color because they are so comfortable. They are super affordable and very comfortable. I live in flip flops over the summer and these are the most perfect ones to throw on when I am in a rush. 

Gel moisturizer

In the summer I want something light weight and thin on my skin. Gel moisturizes are my go-to because they feel so lightweight and cooling on my face. Neutrogena hydro boost has been my go-to for years. But I also love the Tatcha Water Cream (I talk about it here). 

Brazilian Cream Spray

 I have mentioned it before. This scent is my absolute favorite this summer. I’m not a huge perfume girl, but I do enjoy fragrance mists or light sprays. I became obsessed with this lotion and body wash earlier this year and decided to try out the mist. I keep it in my purse/work bag and I get compliments on it every time I wear it. This is the most perfect scent for summer and I don’t think I will ever not have this scent somewhere in my house.

Jean shorts

I’m trying to get more into jean shorts to try and spruce up a day-to-day outfit. Majority of the time I live in athletic shorts or biker shorts. I decided to try these Levi jean shorts after hearing all about them on TikTok. #influenced. But these shorts definitely live up to the hype. They aren’t too short and aren’t overly distressed. I have stuck with american eagle shorts for the longest time, but they are becoming shorter and shorter every year and I want something that’s a little more ‘family’ appropriate if I decide to wear them out. Definitely worth a try if you are on the hunt for a good pair of jean shorts

Sunglasses

These are a great Quay dupe if you are looking to save some money. I have one pair of quay sunglasses that I LOVE. And although I want more pairs I can’t really justoyfy spending the money after finding a pair on Amazon that are almost identical. They give the oversized look and they are polarized. They are less than $30 and come in a few color options. Definitely worth checking out if you are into sunglasses.

Jumpsuit

 I ordered this jumpsuit a few months ago and I can’t begin to explain how comfortable it is. It’s affordable and super stretchy. Wearing a lace bralette underneath is my favorite way to wear it. It is thin enough to wear in the warm weather and its super easy to take off and put on.
