How I Plan My Home Workouts

Once I began to see progress with at-home workouts, I knew I wasn’t going to step foot back in a gym. Being able to workout from home was almost a foolproof way that I would get my workouts done when they were scheduled. Here is How I Plan My Home Workouts.

I love being able to workout from home and I’ve made a few blog posts related to at-home workouts and how to make a fitness routine.

HOME WORKOUT LIBRARY // LIVE CLASSES

I’ve mentioned before in my blog that I utilized beachbody workouts for a long time, and I still continue to use them pretty frequently. I typically don’t follow a program from start to finish, unless it’s a short one (2-3 weeks). I have still enjoyed their BODi options which allows you to take various fitness classes of your choosing. Also from the comfort of your own home!

When I’m in limbo with a workout program, I try to structure my home workouts like this;

I have been really into weight lifting the past 6 months, and have been scheduling my days by focusing on parts of my body.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Monday: Chest & Tri’s
Tuesday: Back & Biceps
Wednesday: Cardio
Thursday: Shoulders
Friday: Legs
Saturday: Full Body
Sunday: Rest

This is what works for me and this is what I enjoy.  Of course life happens, and as much as I don’t like going off schedule, I know that it happens. If I miss a workout, I try to jump right back in where I left off.

WHERE I FIND MY WORKOUTS

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. If you don;t know where to start, I suggest finding a personal trainer (if you can afford it). I don’t recommend following instagram workouts if you are truly looking for growth/weight loss. Leave that up to a professional. If you are looking to just move your body and do basic workouts, there are a ton of free workouts on Instagram or Youtube.

I still love to use Beachbody workouts, especially their BODi (as mentioned above). Despite not following a program from start to finish in a long time, I still love having so many options at my fingertips. I have completed numerous beachbody programs in the past, and I really do think their workouts are great! Especially if you are limited on time or wanting to switch it up.

FAVORITE WORKOUT CLOTHES

Majority of the clothing I own is workout/activewear. I really enjoy buffbunny and gymshark, but have been venturing out to Amazon because they have a ton of dupes online for name brand clothing (just life buffbunny and gymshark). They are almost identical quality for half the price. I have linked a few of my recent finds below.

Sports Bra (Aoxjox)

This has quickly become one of my favorite brands for sports bras. And this bra is *chefs kiss*. It comes in a bunch of colors and is only $25. This Brand also has a ton of different styles with a few become some affordable dupes for very popular athletic wear brands.

Leggings/Shorts (TomTiger)

This is another brand that I recently tried that I can definitely say is a great affordable option if you don’t want to spend a ton of money on workout leggings. The material is thin but very stretchy. They also come in shorts/biker short length as well as a bunch of other colors! This is the green pair I recently purchased.

This is everything I do to help Plan My Home Workouts. I hope everything listed above can motivate you to start working out from home if you are someone who is really trying to be more consistent.
